Food To Feed The Soul
Okay, so what do I mean by soul food?
Not chocolate - sorry... I mean food your body needs,
with emphasis on the word need. Let's look at this
scientifically. Food is really just a load of chemicals
jumbled together in a wide variety of recipes (I'm
talking here of nature's recipes and not those thrown
together by Delia Smith). Those natural recipes hold
all the ingredients necessary to enable the vessel
- your body - to function. But every one of us is
different with a different requirement of nourishment
at different times in our journey of life on Earth.
Every one of us is tuned to a slightly different metabolic
frequency that is constantly changing as we journey
through life. Today, those people generally considered
"experts" treat us all as if we are tuned
to exactly the same frequency. The reason for that
is they all read from the same book.
To know the food necessary for your
unique metabolic frequency at any given time will
require you to be in touch with yourself - I mean
that on a soul level. You will need to listen to yourself
and differentiate between what your taste buds desire
and what your body is telling you it needs.
Do you suddenly and spontaneously think
of a banana for instance? Or a big juicy steak? Or
in the back of your mind there maybe a niggle for
beetroot... Is your body trying to tell you something
on those occasions? I believe it is your soul communicating
with you. That is why I define such desire as soul
food. The soul on behalf of the body is only saying
"I need x, y, z recipe of chemicals right now,
matey, so we can keep your vehicle functioning at
maximum efficiency." Obviously a 50 year old
has experienced a greater amount of nature's recipes
than a 10 year old, thus the 50 year old has a greater
database for the body to call upon and nudge you with
the desire, taste or smell. So have fun and get out
there and try out as many flavours as possible. I,
personally, know for a fact that my soul needs red
wine by the bucket full... But I guess I'm just lucky
that my metabolic frequency is sooo spot on... ;-)
